2009 Adventures by Disney Destinations

When you've done Walt Disney World, and have seen Disneyland, but crave something more without leaving the Disney quality, where do you turn? Adventures by Disney, of course!

In the August 2008 edition of the Mickey Monitor (an annual passholders publication), Disney announced the 2009 destinations for Adventures by Disney. 

Disney is adding the following new destinations:

• Bella Italis — Florence & the Amalfi Coast
• Safari to South Africa — South Africa
• Taming the Final Frontier — Alaska
• Golden Path to Yosemite — San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite
• Beantown & the Big Apple — Boston and NYC
• Rocky Trails & Mountie Tales — Glacier National Park & Canadian Rockies
• Alpine Magic — Switzerland & Italian Lakes
• Gateway to the Galapagos — Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands

The following destinations will be returning:

• Enchanted China — China
• Discovery Down Under — Australia
  
• Sacred Valleys and Incan Cities — Peru
  
• Path to Pura Vida — Costa Rica
  
• The Emerald Isle — Ireland
  
• Cities of Knights and Lights — London & Paris
  
• Viva Italia — Rome, Tuscany & Venice
  
• Once Upon a Fairtytale — Germany
  
• Flavors of France — Provence & Paris
  
• Spirit of America — Philadelphia, Washington DC & Willamsburg
  
• Quest for the West — Wyoming
  
• Southwest Splendors — Arizona & Utah
  
• Backstage Magic — Hollywood and Disneyland
  
• Storybook Kingdoms (new name) — Austria and Czech Republic
